fluffernutter-rice-krispie-treats



  • 12 Ounces Regular Sized Marshmallows
  • 1/4 Cup Butter
  • 1/2 Cup Creamy Peanut Butter
  • 5 Cups Rice Krispies Cereal
  • 1 3/4 Cups Mini Marshmallows
  • 1-10 Ounce Bag Reese's Peanut Butter Morsels Melted
  • 1-8 Ounce Bag Mini Peanut Butter Cups


How to Make It

  • 1. Line an 8X8 inch square baking dish with aluminum foil, allowing two opposing edges to overhang 2 inches. Spray with nonstick cooking spray or coat with butter.
  • 2. In a large pan, over medium heat, melt the butter. When butter is completely melted, turn heat to low and add the 12 ounces of regular size marshmallows. Stir frequently until the mixture is smooth and marshmallows are completely melted.
  • 3. Take the pan off the heat and add the peanut butter and stir until it's completely incorporated. Add the Rice Krispies and stir until the cereal is evenly coated. Add the mini marshmallows and fold to mix evenly.
  • 4. Pour mixture evenly into prepared pan and using a buttered, heavy duty metal spatula, gently even out the top.
  • 5. Evenly spread the melted peanut butter morsels on top.
  • 6. While the morsel layer is still hot, sprinkle the mini peanut butter cups evenly over the top and gently press them into the melted morsel layer.
  • 7. Allow the bars to cool and set completely, then cut and serve.
